Project Wonderful ads secured! Google AdSense on The Way.

Last Thursday my website was accepted by Poject Wonderful to place ads on my site. This is exciting because it generates money for me (so far only about 1 cent per day) and hopefully it will grow enough to make a profit from the comics. I have also applied to Googles AdSense and have been accepted for their ads to be on my site too but I just found out I was accepted last night after midnight. You'll probably see more ads in the coming days.

I don't want the ads to take over the site and be annoying so if something bothers you please let me know and your concerns will be noted and if possible I will make changes to help the situation.

Spell check - THANKS CHAD!

I just wanted to thank my good friend Chad Hebert for being my unpaid spell checker. He notices when I spell things wrong and use words that just don't make proper sense. Hurricane Gustov Update

Weirdness on Back Issue page

So I noticed while at work that the when you click on the Current Story Arc and Back Issue button the comics are stretched and hard to read. I'll be fixing that this evening.

Weekend Update

Welcome to the Strange City Heroes webcomic

My name is Kevin P. Johnson and hopefully I will be entertaining you for a long time to come. My comic is intended to run Monday thru Friday and occasional weekends and eventually 7 days a week. I’m sure that if I miss a day you’ll all forgive me.

The comic will be presented in strip format with story arcs that will usually run no longer than 14 days. There may be the occasional exception here and there but each arc shouldn’t be that long. Although stories will be broken into arcs for easier jumping on points the entire back issue page will all connect as one larger story.

The current days strip will appear on the home page with a button below that when pressed it will include all the strips from the current story arc and then you will be able to find the archives on the Back Issue page. Each story arc will be under its button and will be organized in chronological order.

Strange City Heroes is about a Super Hero team called of course Strange City Heroes who live in once again Strange City (I have not decided what state that is in but it’s in America for sure). The themes are based around Super Heroes and Villians, Horror, Monsters, Science Fiction and just about anything that goes along with super heroes and comic books, oh and there’s going be a love story or two too for those of you who are into some of the more sappy stuff.

Strange City Heroes is a lighthearted humorous comic that takes a group of heroes on often silly adventures in the name of protecting their city from the evils that lurk in the shadows as well as those who lurk in broad daylight. This comic is intended to be for almost all ages, I think anyone over the age of twelve should be safe with this comic.

This is my first comic that will be published to the world to see, there have been several attempts over the years but nothing has ever really worked out. Now at age thirty-six I have decided just to get something out there and worry about making it perfect over time. I am open to any ideas on the art and writing and placing words in word balloons.

I hope that I can make this a full time job someday and make several different comics but for now please enjoy Strange City Heroes, laugh, let yourself be silly, come back tomorrow and help make my dream come true!
